Cut down on laundry and save money on buying more nappies! If the shell is heavily soiled, we recommend washing before reusing to keep the shell in good condition and to prevent ammonia burns on bub's skin

+ Larger Fit & Longer Wings: Monarch have increased the wing length to give you even longer wear out of your Ultimate nappies.

+ Double-gussets (leg elastics): Designed to accommodate lots of absorbency and provide an extra barrier against leaks and explosions.

+ PUL tummy and back flaps: Waterproof front and back flaps to keep the moisture from sitting against bub's stomach and back for extended periods of time. 

+ Please note that the back-flap elastic missing from the previous edition is back due to popular demand!

+ Thick back elastic: Designed to prioritise your little one's comfort, the back elastic is made thicker than what is generally available. 

+ Choice of Snaps or Velcro closure: Something for everyone!

Velcro: More user-friendly (more similar to disposables) and easier to adjust.

Snaps: Easier to maintain (Velcro is prone to picking up fluff in the wash and looking worn).

Inserts:

5-layer Non-Gusseted Hemp Insert (w/ Green Snaps)

+ The inserts are made of 5-layers of hemp/cotton. Hemp is a natural fibre that can absorb up to 20% of its own weight while still feeling dry to the touch, reducing the amount of moisture sitting against your little one's bum. 

5-layer Bamboo Insert (w/ Blue Trim)

+ For that extra bit of absorbency (eg. night-times and heavy-wetters), you can place this Bamboo Insert on top of the Hemp Insert - this will provide you with 10 layers of super thirsty fibre to absorb all the moisture.

3-layer Nap Insert (w/ White Trim)

+ This snap-in insert is perfect for that little extra absorbency.

+ These can be snapped in half or folded in thirds to allow you to customise absorbency where you need it most, whether that's at the front or the middle.
