Refund policy
Hire products:
We do not offer a refund for your change of mind for our hire products. We also do not offer a partial refund if you decide to return your hire products early.
We will provide a refund or replacement for our hire products as required by law (i.e. if your hire product is faulty).
Purchase of second-hand products | Seconds products or sale items:
From time to time, we will sell second-hand or seconds (faulty) products or sale items. We do not offer a refund for your change of mind on the purchase of these second-hand products, seconds (faulty) products or sale items. We will provide a refund on second-hand products, seconds (faulty) products or sale items as required by law (i.e. if the items are faulty and the fault has not previously been disclosed to you).
If we have disclosed any defect to you prior to purchasing the product, you cannot return the product because on this defect. Similarly, if you use a product incorrectly, you are not able to claim that the product is faulty.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our second-hand products and sale items on our website. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate. We also cannot guarantee that the print placement will be the same as any image on our website. In these circumstances, we will not provide a refund because the colour of our product is slightly different to that shown on our website or because the print placement is different to the image for the product shown on our website.
New nappies and other new non-hire products (except sale items or liners):
We will provide a refund on new nappies and other new non-hire products (except sale items and liners) if you change your mind in the following circumstances:
- you must notify us in writing by email to theclothstash@outlook.com regarding your change of mind prior to your products being sent or within one (1) week of receiving your products, and you must provide your receipt or proof of purchase with this email or upon our request;
- the products you wish to return must be unused (i.e. for nappies that means unworn and unwashed) and in the same condition that you received them; and
- the products you wish to return must be unopened in the original packaging where applicable.
If you have requested a refund due to change of mind, it is your responsibility to post the returned products to us and to pay for the costs of the return postage. Once your items are returned and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of our approval or rejection of your refund. If your refund is approved, we will:
- charge a restocking fee of 10% of the total amount that would otherwise be refunded for the returned items to cover our processing costs;
- process your refund meaning that a credit for the refund amount will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment as soon as possible.
We will provide a refund or replacement for new nappies and other new non-hire products if these products are faulty or as otherwise required by law.

Liners:
All liners are non-refundable (unless faulty or otherwise required by law).
Replacement or refund of faulty products:
For faulty products we will gladly organise a replacement or refund as per the manufacturer's warranty. However, if you use a product incorrectly, you are not able to claim that the product is faulty.
Please do not send your faulty products back to the manufacturer. Contact us at info@theclothstash.com.au to discuss the best way forward.
We will cover the costs of the postage to get replacement products(s) to you as soon as possible.

Shipping:
To return your product, please email us at info@theclothstash.com for the return address.
Shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the item is faulty).
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. You are responsible for the returned item until it has been delivered to The Cloth Stash.
